It's 7th of June, 2010.

HOLY. LORD.

It's the first day of school, OH MY GOD. hahaha.

I'm currently reading some advance reading assignment, AND OH MY GOD, IT'S FINALLY REAL, I'M IN A FRIGGING LAW SCHOOL OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD.

yeah :)

Anyway, lol, we attended our orientation last saturday. it was fun, my sister, Recks, who's now senior in law was ambushed to give a speech. She was just wearing jeans and a hoodie :)) priceless. she even broke a microphone, hahaha, ah, the Recto charm. LOL.

That was June 5, which was, coincidentally, Noelle's birthday! Remember? We had a little celebration at Red Box. To my chagrin (lol, not really), I got asked to sing all the M2M songs and the Justin Bieber songs (WHY?!)

The day went well for all of us, me coming from the school orientation, running late for the party. Singing some songs, handing Noelle my gift, which is a pillow since she likes to sleep in the office haha. Then we went out to eat, I whispered to her that I've become a vegetarian, she got a quick laugh out of it then she turned to me and said "You're not serious, aren't you?" When I said yes, she got all dramatic and funny.

So yeah, food. Then riddles and animal jokes, like the old times. I really missed them, West, mostly, since we spent our college days together, everyday.

Then we went to the arcades and took some pictures at the photo booth. Then this one guy comes in. I think we''re sort of dating, I don't know, lol. So until I know that we actually are going out, I will refer to him as this guy and that guy hahaha.

Anyway, when everybody else left to go home, this guy stayed with me since he knew that my sister was out partying with her high school friends. I didn't know TriNoMa stayed open til 2am =/ anyway, we went to the movies and watched Shrek 3. That guy loved the movie, loved Puss mostly. He paid for the tickets, which was something new to me since I always pay for tickets, no matter who I am with and the people I'm with buys the popcorn. He shelled out a thousand for a movie just because it's 3D. lol cinemas, ripping you off everyday. Anyway, loved the movie, was funny but they could have done better. I think I enjoyed that guy's reactions more than I enjoyed the movie. That guy really loved Puss, who had gone real fat, putting Garfield to shame.

After the movies, we went out of the cinema, still talking about Puss. We're obsessed I know. He's a cat person, I am too. But I didn't tell him that. I told him I loved dogs mostly since we had one, our baby Tiara. He didn't have cats at home, but he took care of the neighbor cats and the strays. We also remembered he gave me Nerds, because I like Nerds. I told him he can have it, he said we can just eat it inside the cinema but it got completely forgotten. He also likes nerds. Then we took pictures at the photobooth, I like how tall I was in the picture, angle magic. hahaha. I'm taller, and I love it. HAHAHA. So, yeah, the mall was near closing, I think it was midnight by then, lights off, spooky mannequins. He started talking about games. I told him we were totally getting a Silent Hill treatment and he laughed, apparently he loves the game too. I told him I loved Pyramid Head, he said he did too. Then we got to Resident Evil, which is like my most favorite game ever. He tells me his Counter Strike name is actually Leon. I love Leon, and Resident Evil 4 is the best game ever, but I didn't tell him that too.

The clock hit 12:30 and we found my sister by Gilli's, drunk and sauntering like a sugar high bee. hahaha. I introduced him to my sister and to most of my sister's friends who only mused how tall I have become. My sister is shorter than me, lol. We parted ways and my sister tells me that guy is pretty nice and awesome. She also tells me - he might be gay. I told her, I thought so too.

My sister's boyfriend Ryan got the wheels, really glad he did since my sister was too drunk to even walk hahaha. Well he's drunk too, but I guess he's better at drunk driving.

So yeah, I'm still alive.

Ein, the weekend that has passed and birthday bashes

It’s 24^th of May, 2010 – it’s a Monday, good week ahead, hm, world?

Wow, two days without ever writing in this journal. Somehow that makes me feel empty, lol. Two days had come and gone and I’m still whirling with excitement and euphoria in my head. Well, at least, up until last night when my head started hurting like hell. I asked someone to crack my skull open, then had some medicine then some good chocolate to relieve myself of the pain. Later that night, my sister and I watched South Park and I cured myself with laughter. South Park is our drug, I must say. It’s stupid and pointless but we keep going back to it for the fun we get. Good times.

So we had our shoot last Saturday with the usual gang. Just be Friends. Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time to shoot RIP=RELEASE. And I was looking forward to it too!

We agreed on meeting by 8am. Niichan, as usual, is ever punctual and came 40 minutes before the call time. 7:30am, I went in to McDonalds and ordered food with Niichan as we waited for the other two to come. We also mooched some Wifi while we were at it hahaha. However, the connection gets cut off every thirty minutes, I guess? And just on cue, the other two came and we drove off to Bulacan.

It was another period of waiting as we came to Imahica’s house even before she got home from the Town Plaza. When she got home, we proceeded to the house and started preparing.

The balloons were damn crazy. Damn crazy I tell you, hahaha.

Somewhere along pumping balloons and trying to make sense of how we’re going to keep everything in place. Patty and I got high. I don’t know why. Heck, I don’t even. Lol.

Oh, by that time, Noelle came in too and helped out. Sweet, no? I love how she’s always around.

Anyway, when we finished making all the balloons and the paper planes for the shoot, Niichan and Layla finished making the background as well.

By then, our Chowking order came with the delivery man speeding off with his motorcycle. Since every one was nearly dying from starvation, we gave in and ate. By then, we were an hour behind schedule.

We finally began shooting. We had a lot of problems, actually. The lighting wasn’t really that good, we used improvised reflectors since we forgot to bring ours, lol. Then we had to cramp ourselves in the make shift background that we made.

Fixing ourselves was a problem too. Here I am in all my gay glory. I was practicing the “hurt” face, the dude had. I’m not sure if that went well.

Luka looks brilliant. Imahica is probably one of my favorite canvasses. I love putting make up on her.

And then we had to change outfits ever so often, I swear Imahica and I lost a few pounds that day. (Which I probably readily gained as I chugged down a couple glasses of soda.)

Even my soda moments end up emo. I don’t know why, it just does. Lol.

We didn’t copy the original Just be Friends video shot per shot like how most would do. I wanted to bring something new to the table and decided to go with the English version, a masterful cover of the song by a YouTube fandubber who translated the song in English. I also planned a lot of other shots in order to bring some movement and more drama into the picture. Not to mention we didn’t do the first scene with the sofa and the boy in jeans. It just didn’t suit my taste, is all.

I hope to pull this off, really. Come Thursday and the pictures are in hand, I’m going to be a very, very, busy emo dude.

Oh, it’s the 24^th.

I remember my Mom’s birthday tomorrow. The hardest part is that we have to top last year’s bash. At least the birthday bash, since I don’t think my sister and I can afford to top last year’s Christmas present for Mom and Dad. Those gifts really cost us a bundle, lol. Not that I’m complaining. Those gifts, after all, last forever – if you catch my drift.

Every year, my Mom wants the same things. For Mother’s Day, she wants books and limited edition CDs. For her birthday, we always go out to get her designer bags and shoes. That’s how it is every year. Few weeks back, she said she wanted something new for her birthday. And I asked her what it was. She said she wanted the Michael Jackson Collection, out for bids I think. My sister and I settled for that. But few days ago, she changed her mind. Good thing we didn’t place an order yet, ti would have been wasted. Now we’re back to designer bags and shoes. It’s still a wonder where everything goes. She buys them constantly and I never see them. She just wears them once, twice, then you never see them again.

My Dad’s birthday is on the 28^th. When my sister and I were younger, we would often buy him collectible lighters. My Dad smokes, so he likes those. Also cute ash trays, which were, um, too cute haha. But these days, we get him shoes, sunglasses and the like, since he couldn’t be bothered to buy those himself.

Also, Mei, (also known as Geewan, since I’m Geetwo hahaha) is celebrating her birthday on the 27^th :D Happy birthday Mei! I still don’t know what to get her lol.

Ein and the lazy afternoon

It's 18th of May, 2010. It's 6:00pm and a Tuesday.

Today has been a very slow day. I ended up piling up work over the weekend and I have to work on them now. A lot of people think I work too much, I think that's fine. The payslip is really rewarding for a home based job :]

Hm. So, I made plans for the weekend, and the next two days after that. On Saturday, we'd shoot on Imahica's place in Calumpit, Bulacan. That's a two hour drive for me, I'm from Forgotten City, the traffic capital of my country. Then come Sunday, Ecopark, a thirty minute drive and Tuesday, my alma mater, an hour and a half drive from home. BUT-- my parents feel that I should just stay home. lol. Dad says I should spend more time at home. It's sad, since I'm trying to spend my summer to the fullest. I don't go to beaches, I don't go to bars either. I spend my time with friends, doing shoots, when I get home, I work. It's all I ever do... @_@; my sister, on the other hand, goes to places that are on the opposite sides of the map. I wish I could do the same.

Anyway, I'm still hoping and praying that they'll allow me.
